BMW CBS
The newer BMWs from 2006+ are coming with a system called CBS – Condition Based Service. It is improved system that has sensors to detect the condition of various things such as brake fluid, front pads, rear pads, cabin air filter and air filter. Every so often kilometers or with time, it will show that a specific system needs attention.
It is improved system that is offered to newer BMWs, after the service, these systems are reset to their OEM setting.
You can access this on instrumental panel, if you have CCC/MASK if you can access through the screen, if you have iDrive then you can access through screen too. It shows the status and percentages of system health.
We have specialized computer to access and reset the CBS system after service is carried out. We also have ability to troubleshoot if for some reason any other mechanic cannot reset the CBS system, generally a programming problem with brake sensors.
