📝 Rental Terms & Conditions

Our rental program is built on trust between us and the shops, technicians, and DIY owners we work with. Here’s how it works:

✅ Valid ID Required – A valid government-issued ID is required to reserve and pick up any tool.
✅ Refundable Deposit – A refundable deposit is required for most tools, based on the tool’s value. Your deposit is returned in full when the tool is returned on time and in the condition it was rented.
✅ Rental Period – Rental length is agreed upon at pickup. Extensions are available if requested before the due date.
✅ Late Returns – Additional fees may apply for tools returned after the agreed rental period.
✅ Condition & Cleanliness – Tools must be returned in the same working condition they were rented in, reasonably clean of grease and debris.
✅ Damage or Loss – The renter is responsible for repair or replacement costs for any tool that is damaged, lost, or not returned.
✅ No Third-Party Use – Tools may not be sub-rented or loaned out to a third party outside the original rental agreement.
✅ Availability – Tool availability is not guaranteed without a reservation. We recommend booking ahead, especially for high-demand tools.
✅ Local Pickup – All rentals are picked up and returned at our Scarborough location.
